Below you will find a list of frequently asked questions as well as our terms and conditions of booking a charter. Should you have any questions with booking a Sydney Fishing Charter we highly recommend you call us.

I have never been fishing before, will someone show me?

Yes, we will give you all the fishing equipment and tuition you need to be able to catch fish. Our friendly skippers are highly experienced and here to assist you with your catch. We always enjoy watching the look on our clients faces when they bring in their first fish.

Can I keep the fish I catch?

Absolutely, you can choose to either keep or share your catch. As long the fish is of legal size otherwise it will be returned to the ocean. If you prefer to release your catches you can do that too. All fish that are kept will be gilled and gutted by our crew so that you can take your fish home without the fishy smell in your car.

What’s included in the price?

All fishing charter trips will include the appropriate tackle and equipment to target our chose species of fish. It includes our expert crew and fresh drinking water.

Where do we board the boat and what time?

Unless otherwise stated all of our fishing charters will depart at 6am with our return time dependent on the fishing charter package selected. We depart from the wharf at Sans Souci Park, Sydney.

Is there plenty of parking?

Yes, There is plenty of parking located at Sans Souci Park near the wharf.

Is there a toilet on board?

For your comfort we have toilet & shower facilities with hot / cold water, microwave and kitchenette.  

What should I bring?

It’s important that your comfortable for the day and we want you to have a great time. Please bring your Video/ Camera, sunglasses, sunscreen lotion, hat, food & drink & warmer clothes for weather change.

Bring an Esky for transporting your cleaned fish home. Leave this in your car until we arrive back at the wharf. If prone to Sea-sickness, purchase tablets from the chemist & follow instructions on the packet.

How far do you go out to see?

We will typically travel up to 30 nautical miles but usually not more than 15 nautical miles from shore. Depending on weather and the type of fish species we are targeting on the day of your trip.

Do we fish in bad weather?

If weather forecast is bad on the day, we will typically cancel due to it being both unsafe and uncomfortable for our guests. Strong winds and high seas will typically result in our skipper making the call on the day. We will contact you prior if we need to reschedule. If its raining it does not typically mean it will be cancelled so long as there is no wind and sea levels remain calm.

How do I book my fishing charter?

To make a booking simply contact Dean on 0408 973 035 or via our online booking request form. We will confirm your requested date and request a deposit to ensure we do not take any other booking for that day.  A 50% deposit is required within 21 days of charter with the balance within 14 days of charter.

How far in advanced should I book?

During peak seasons we can be booked out for months in advanced. It is highly recommended that you plan and book well in advanced. Whilst we will always do our best to accommodate you to ensure you can obtain that date your after please ensure you book at least 3 months in advanced.

Do you take last minute bookings?

Yes, from time to time we have available days and cancellations in which we may be able to accommodate you on very short notice. In this case please call Dean immediately on 0408 973 035.

Cancellation & Damage

Damage incurred to the vessel, equipment or loss of fishing gear due to irresponsible behaviour will result in you having to pay to fix or replace the items.

Cancellation due to bad weather will result in clients having 6 months re-book the charter.
